HIMSS is a global, cause-based, not-for- profit organization focused on better health through information technology (IT). HIMSS lead efforts to optimize health engagements and healthcare outcomes using IT.
HIMSS India Chapter was formed in 2010 and has the distinction of being the first country specific chapter of HIMSS outside USA. The Chapter has been at the forefront in forming Industry opinion and thought leadership on various aspects related to Healthcare Information and Technology Transformation both at Public Policy and Implementation levels.
The Chapter has successfully conducted leading industry events such as Digital Health Summit in 2015, HIMSS India Annual Conferences in 2018, 2019 and 2020 series of webinars during the COVID-19 crises.
